Adding an Asset from the Assets Data Page
An asset is an item that generally has a value in the market, generates revenue, has a maintenance or calibration cost, depreciates over time, has a useful lifespan, and has a salvage value. Examples of assets include: office furniture and fixtures, office vehicles, data servers and computer equipment.
In IntelliTrack, an asset contains its own individual value; and its location, condition, and value may be individually tracked in and out of the system. An asset is added to an asset type item from the Manage Items page via the Assets form (see "Adding an Asset from the Manage Items Page") or at the Assets Data page via the Add Asset form. This section explains how to add an asset from the Assets Data page.
